LOL...ok, there's my first attempt at a video! I sound (and feel) like a goof. :o ZbnvXopYMyM (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbnvXopYMyM) And here's a better shot of mommy:
Have started already..:D, Everyday it gets darker a minute or 2 earlier..It won't be long before the dating scene starts again..:D..We have some pairings planned but we'll hollar at ya'll for an opinion on one or possibly two scenarios..We'll need to build a new incubator this winter too, don't...
I just placed my male in the female's cage to make some room for my blacks untill i finish their cage. My albino's are born 11-06-2008, 4ft long and aprox. 3-4 kg. Now they're copulating and i'm a bit concerned since they're a litlle over 2 years "young", isn't this a bit young for the female...
a female yellow blood with a 100% het lylly red albino male? what would the possible babies be? is this even a possible cross? both are brongs but they are different colors. or would this be messing with genes too much? just wondering, thanks for any input :)
Wondering what is the worst looking egg that survived.. I have heard of some that had mold and they still lived.. Does anyone have pics of eggs that looked "gloom and doom" (Stolen from Matt J) but still managed to hatch? If so what special care if any did you do to try and help their survival?
Hey guys. i've been trying to get my facts together and internet searching is next to impossible to find good accurate info on how to breed bloods. I wont be attempting for a while as my female is only a year old and i still have to find her a male but what cycles do they need to go through? i know...
I'm new to the blood world and just had a few questions. I have kept a pair of albinos for about 3 and half years, I have had them practically since hatchlings and got them from ryan. My question is what age and size can the females breed? I just have not had any info on breeding bloods, so any...
Ive been trying to breed my Borneo short-tailed pythons for a couple of years, and after a hell of a lot of mating since november, things are starting to look promising. The female hasnt eaten since xmas eve and refused a rat again last night, and she is normally an absolute dustbin when it comes...
So I picked up this non working freezer and am converting it over. My cooler which would be great for smaller Ball clutches, isnt going to cut it in the future, so its getting sold. I ripped off the inside door skin and re-paneled it with the same stuff Helix uses in their RHP's Questions to...
So what's the count? I've know people at 60 +days waiting to hatch, almost losing thier hair...:D so what the soonest/quickest & the longest they hatched for you?? I'm at 45 days 22 hrs 54 min, .......:D
We know that our Sally X Peanut clutch was incubated at the lower temperature range and took 65 days to hatch..Normally we'll look for pipping to take place at 56 days so they went 9 days over..Well we started popping/sexing animals yesterday and popped the 4 ultras to have them all be females,,we...
I've got an egg pile almost ready to hatch. should I just let them pip in pile or try and seperate top eggs from pile? can pulling eggs off pile hurt the babies inside? i thought I was cool as ice not really checking eggs till last couple days now im back....:D
Actually inattentaniveness on my part..Our Sally X Peanut clutch of 23 eggs will likely be a poor showing..The top eggs went thirsty and the bottom eggs got more than enough moisture..Zero mold issues but we don't anticipate the 100 % hatch we got from them last year..Hopefully what does hatch will...
Earlier this year I had my STP lay 24 perfect eggs. I wound up with 16 babies that are now on their second meals. My situation is this. 1 of the 8 "later to bad eggs" about 40 days out was turning darker in color. Later on I checked it and it was hard as a rock. I cut it open and there was an...
So the twins hatched out yesterday and unfortunately they both have kinked spines, not horribly severe but pretty noticeable. Does anyone know what can be the cause of this? I have read that major inbreeding can do it, the sire and dam are completely unrelated so that's not it. The incubator...
With all I'm reading about..... People leaving babies in the tubs until they've all pipped.... Yanking em out one by one.... Wet paper towels this and that.... Putting em on wet towels right before they hatch in the incubator..... Feeding now/later..... Sex right out of the egg....wait....?...

Hey all . Thanks for the congrats on my new hatchlings. I have 16 nice STP's with 3 being marbels. I'll post some pics later. This is my first clutch of STPs. I have bred burms and other pythons and the hatchling first sheds are usually 7-12 days after emerging. These little ones have been out...
